I’d give the man the benefit of Love is my religion T-Shirt and say that he and his girlfriend probably did consider adoption. But adoption requires a woman , which is an enormous undertaking. It’s agreeing to allow her body to completely change to accommodate this new life. And that is not something that all women would be willing to do.
