One of the main character committed suicide because his father didn’t approve of Be mine or I’ll kill you Cartel INK shirt. Then ironically, Robin commits suicide in the end. When I was a teen and first saw the movie I thought it was different. Kind of reminded me of “A Separate Peace”. We were reading that at the time in English classes. Always loved the poems of Walt Whitman and that movie never let me forget that some souls are just too gentle, beautiful, and talented to be thrust into the mundane world of chasing money etc.
