You realize Whitmer took only 19 out of 70 counties in Michigan. Had Michigan had an electoral college, she would’ve lost. Mainly the Detroit, Flint and Lansing area. The rest of the state with an exception of a few counties sprinkled throughout, voted Republican. Proponents of banning the electoral college would leave the fate of the country to a few high population areas, such as New York and Los Angeles. Very dangerous. Our Founding Fathers were wise beyond their years.
