So what clarity did I get? Most of this we’d already hashed over. I don’t think I realized how much my teasing – her and the Rowdy Ronda Rousey shirt– turns her off. I knew she has self-image problems, but maybe not to what extent. Perhaps some might read this and say it really IS all my fault, but exhibit A: the chicken and the egg. I didn’t wall up my affection until I started feeling neglected and unloved. And when I have tried in the past to act more like how I think she wants, I’ve seen little improvement on her end.
