My platoon escorted Obama at least 15 times while I was at that unit. We also buried the national anthem in its final resting place, Francis Scott keys grave, in Fredericksburg Maryland. I was able to be part of the the retirement ceremony for 2 secretary of defenses. (1 was asked to step down by Obama). We escorted Obama and Biden for his 2013 inauguration.
