We’ve gotten a merry christmas elf shirt. When I say I take it too far, I mean, now they’re too riled up for bedtime, because we’ve been goofing around. Or I say, OK, time to go brush our teeth, but they don’t take me seriously because we were being silly a moment earlier. Or I tease when they’re being ridiculous – e.g. someone ate all the muffins… and the culprit was the one throwing the tantrum!
