I was the If At First You Don’t Succeed Try Doing What Your Scout Leader Shirt beneficiary of my dad’s money when he passed. I had no idea until I received a letter after he was gone. To me it felt like dirty money. I also felt an incredible amount of guilt when he yold me not to share it. The amount was way less than originally mentioned in passed years. He always used to joke, “don’t worry when I’m gone you’ll get some cash” I hated that…. so I spent the money as quickly as possible. Expensive car, no house, just paying bills, going on vacation and once the money was gone.
