But, you having overcome adversity does not mean that what the adults in your life did was ok and not abusive, it also does not mean that others can or must be as powerful as you and overcome abuse so well! It also does NOT mean that using physical force is NOT abusive! And i truly hope that if or when you are an adult in charge of a child that you do NOT repeat what was done to you to them
