My mom would beat me and not the other 8 kids in my family. Well, at least that I know of Believe Achieve Succeed Black History Month shirt or remember. One brother and sister asked me once, “Why does mom beat you?” I never found out but I think she was inmature. I was one of my dad’s favorites. He hated my younger brother and I think my mom took it out on me. She was abused by my dad but she wouldn’t leave him. It was ugly. I still remember getting a bath from my mom and I was about 4-5 yrs of age. I was getting soap in my eyes and was crying.
