This is why I tend to bristle at Merle at all. It’s recently been introduced to poodles(by breeding them to aussies) and has Horror Michael Myers just do it shirt where Merle poodles can be tested and come back as pure poodle. If it occurs naturally in a breed that’s one thing, but bringing it into breeds(especially ones like poodles that are already plagued with unscrupulous breeders everywhere) makes absolutely no sense to me.
