Never understood why people can’t remember what xayah’s history in the meta actually is. She was released in season 7, but she wasn’t the EMT With Angel Wings shirt. Why? Ardent meta is better for hypercarries with lots of range. She was middle of the pack in S7. Beginning of season 8 adcs went into a relic shield meta to counter sorcery which was op on release. Was she the best then? Nope, it was actually still the hypercarries. Then they nerf all the relic shield abusers which finally allows xayah to be one of the top 3 adcs along with kaisa who was just released.
