I wouldn’t call her “fine” in her current state, but she is also not nearly as bad as most people seem to believe. Her overt reliance on coordination also just makes her not a solo queue champion, but I don’t think that’s particularly problematic. She is also far from the only champion with this (or the inverse) issue. Without a VGU her kit will remain unbalanceable. A rework would likely entail losing her passive, E or R (or even multiple of those abilties) – but all of those abilities are also extremely iconic for Kalista, so I can see why Riot refrains from reworking her.
