The nazis used dogs to sniff out hiding Jews, and sometimes just to torture them for ful. I read one story from a child of a nazi about her trying to reconcile the man she knew growing up with the Black History Influential Black Leaders Black tee shirt he did in the camps. She learned that her father saw a 9 year old boy get off the train at three camps holding an apple. The nazi took the apple and sticked his attack dogs on the boy, eating the apple as he watched the child be mauled to death just because he was bored.
