I’m at the age where fuck you and or fuck that shirt

My theory is that the Catholic Church does such thorough brain washing that some people, even intelligent and “good” people, simply cannot accept the fall of a man like I’m at the age where fuck you and or fuck that shirt. The implications for their own faith and indeed for the whole way they’ve led their lives would be too great for them to deal with. I don’t see this as an excuse in any way, I’m just trying to understand it (informed by my own Catholic upbringing).
