I have worn an amethyst in a rose setting ring for years. I love the color and so very happy it’s my birthstone. Purple is my favorite color also. Oddly enough, in my youth I could drink, a lot of February 2001 18 years sunshine mixed with a little hurricane shirt, and never got drunk. It didn’t matter if it was Black Velvet or Tequila or beer. Friends always said I had a wooden leg. Later I read while wearing an amethyst you couldn’t get drunk. You be the judge.
