I once had a walking stick made to order just because this man was an artist in woodcraft. I told him what I wanted as he sketched it out on a pad. We made a few adjustments and I came back four hours later for the cane that is still my favorite today. It is beautiful and made to order. He put on only one coat of stain and told me to add as many as I wanted when I got it home. He just had to seal it so my sweaty little hands and the mud didn’t discolor it.
